MOUNTAIN SANCTUARY
6:00pm - Thursday, October 8th, Taos Community Auditorium
The St. Bernard Hotel is an icon of Taos Ski Valley. It is still run by the man who
built it in 1960: Jean Mayer. Widely recognized as the godfather of the valley Jean
has done more than anyone to establish Taos' reputation as a first class destination
for both skiing and cuisine. His enthusiasm for the sport has never waned and
his dedication to bringing a unique experience to his guests is proven every night
when he personally serves his wonderful "en famille" meals.

BEYOND MIDNIGHT: THE GRAND TRAVERSE
8:00pm - Thursday, October 8th, Taos Community Auditorium
Few physical challenges can match the commitment and fitness required by the Grand Traverse. The competitors have to cover the forty miles of high country between Crested Butte and Aspen in one night. Conor Hagen's film takes us effectively into the mountains as well as into the hearts and tortured limbs of the skiers.
