Welcome to the Ninth Annual Taos Mountainfilm Festival
Dear Festival Goers,
Welcome to the ninth! This year, my partners in this endeavor,  Matt Somerville and Charlie Gibbons, avid skiers both,
have assembled a fantastic line up of skiing films and personalities.
Greg Stump, the legendary filmmaker will present an array
of his work. Two local filmmakers will celebrate our own Taos
legend, Jean Mayer.
Sir Chris Bonington came to Taos in 2007 and had such
a marvelous time he agreed to be on our board and to come back:
for the hospitality and the climbing. Thank you Jay Foley.
Despite the challenging economic climate we have managed
to stage another event. My debt to Ed & Trudy Healy, Ben
Maddox, the Town of Taos, the Village of Taos Ski Valley, and George
Basch for their generous support of the Taos
Mountainfilm Festival is enormous.
